The following configuration of TV (Desktop link "MediaPortal 2 TV configuration) is the same as for MP1: run TV configuration, scan channels, etc. No additional components are required, which makes it much easier to setup. It's a bugfix for Summer'15 release and contains everything you need to watch TV. If you have installed MP1 only for getting TV (and not for other reasons), you might consider only this installer of MP2. In order to get EPG data matching with the channels from your tuner, you should use the xml plugin down the bottom with something like EpgToPvrs - a free TV EPG which outputs xml. If you have MP2-Server installed, you need to remove/delete the inbuilt TV-Plugin from C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Plugins\SlimTv.Service3 The first time you run the config it will check that the TV Server is running and ask you to enter the password which is 'MediaPortal'.Configure server name, user and password in MP2->Settings->Plugins->TV for MPextended access.Remove/delete the C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Client\Plugins\SlimTv.NativeProvider (there can be only one).Then open MediaPortal and go to the Videos section (I am pretty sure it is just called Videos in all skins) and all the folders you have mapped to should be there. Extract the plugin to C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Client\Plugins So within the MediaPortal configuration app you go to videos - folders and map all the relevant network or other locations there.If you like to use MP1+TvServer in combination with MP2 this needs to:
